This Privacy Policy explains how BetEdge (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service you consent to the practices described below.

Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your email address and the credentials or social-login identifier you choose. We receive a stable user ID from Clerk and basic profile information you provide.

Billing information. If you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and stores your payment-method details. We do not see or store full card numbers. We store a Stripe customer ID and your subscription plan and status.

Preferences. Your selected sportsbooks and other in-app preferences are stored in our database, keyed to your user ID.

Usage data. We use Vercel Analytics to record aggregate, non-identifying usage of the Service (page views, performance metrics). Vercel Analytics does not use third-party cookies and does not track users across sites.

Logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records request logs that include IP address, user-agent, and timestamps for security and operational purposes.

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service;
• To authenticate you and provide plan-appropriate access to features;
• To process payments and manage subscriptions;
• To respond to support requests and send transactional emails (e.g. billing receipts, account notices);
• To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your information for behavioral advertising.

We share information with the following service providers:

• Clerk— authentication and account management.
• Stripe— payment processing and subscription billing.
• Vercel— hosting, analytics, and request logging.
• Railway— database hosting (MySQL).

Each provider is bound by its own privacy practices and processes your information only to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of BetEdge or others.

We retain account and subscription data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations and to resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us; we will delete your account information except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records).

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

The Service is intended for adults 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

BetEdge is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted to this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
